The skill of coaching is distinct from training, managing, or faciliting. (We are defining coaches as those who are being asked to help improve the performance of others.)
Issue:
Are those involved in helping others improve their performance only casually coaching? Does necessary coaching get done on a regular basis? Are people who need coaching getting help when then need it? Are people being asked to coach others without been shown how to coach?
